Dr. Selim Şeker received his MS and PhD degrees in
1978 and 1982 from the George Washington University,Wash.D.C.,USA.
He has been working in the area of microwave remote
sensing, propagation and biological effect of EM.Fields
and related areas.In the summer of 1983,1984,1985 and
1987 as well as between 1982 to 1983 he was with
CyberCom Corporation,VA,USA and conductrd research in
the area of EM propagation through forests.In summer
of 1986, he worked on the problem of EM scattering and
absorbers at BBC Baden Switzerland.On his sabbatical
leave 1990-1992, he though several different courses
at both graduate and undergraduate level at GWU,and
conducted one year theoretical and experimental
research for NASA.He has puplished 32 journal papers
and presented 90 conference papers at several
symposium.He is also the author of 12 reports and 8
books(in Turkish).He is a senior member of IEEE.
